Student Awards

Honour Roll

At the end of each semester, students in Grades 10–12 who attain a final grade point average of 80% or higher earn a place on the Honour Roll. This is based on a minimum of 4 courses for Grades 10–11 and 3 courses for Grade 12.

Principal’s List

Students in Grades 10–12 who achieve a final grade point average of 90% or higher at the end of each semester earn a position on the Principal’s List, also based on a minimum of 4 courses for Grades 10–11 and 3 courses for Grade 12.

Please note: Honour Roll and Principal’s List awards are not currently given in Grades 8 and 9 due to the Ministry of Education’s new reporting order. These grades are now assessed using the Provincial Proficiency Scale (Emerging, Developing, Proficient, Extending) instead of letter grades and percentages.

To view student awards:  Log in to Student Connect or Parent Connect and choose ‘Activity’ from the menu. Within the Activity folder you will see all of the awards that have been achieved for each semester.
