Monday, November 28

Hey Huskies! Are you ready to step into the Christmas spirit? ND Musical Theatre proudly presents this year’s annual candy gram sale! Stop by the foyer and counseling area at lunch and after school starting Wednesday November 30th to Friday December 2nd to get yourself and your friends a candy gram. Candy Grams will be sold for $2.50 each or 3 for $5! They will be delivered to block A on Thursday Dec 15th. Send a treat to your friends! Get your candy while you can! Don’t wait! These will sell out!

Are you in Grades 11 or 12 and feeling like there is just not enough Badminton in your life? If so, this one’s for you! This Friday December 2nd, from 3-4:30pm, there will be free drop-in Badminton in the ND gym for any Grade 11 or 12s. This is for fun, and is not a tryout. All skill levels welcome, and all equipment will be provided. Wear appropriate PE attire and see you this Friday after school! And Juniors, stay tuned, as a drop-in Badminton gym will be coming up for you next week!
There is a team meeting for the senior girls’ basketball team before practice on Wednesday, Nov. 30. Please meet in Ms. Cleaver’s room at 5:15. Practice is from 6:00 to 7:30 on Wednesday
Hey Grads! Have you ordered your Grad Hoodie yet? Today is the last day to submit an order. Use the google form found on the ND Grad Instagram or newsletter and fill your order! Late orders will not be accepted. Hoodies are $65.00.

The GSA club will meet tomorrow at lunch in room 1105! GSA stands for Gender and Sexuality Alliance, and it provides a safe space to socialize and to share info and resources on all things LGBTQ2+ related. Everyone is welcome, see you at lunch!

Heads up Huskies that Homework Club is back in the library this week! See you Tuesday & Thursday right after the last bells!

Grade 12 students who have given back to their community and showed leadership can apply for the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award, more information is posted on the bulletin board across the Students’ Services Area. The deadline is Feb. 1st 2023.

Are you in grade 11 or 12 and interested in a Firefighting Career? There is a junior Firefighting Camp offered from March 6-March 10 by the Delta School Board. Applications are due by Dec. 15th. Information is posted on the bulletin board in the foyer across from Student Services.

Wednesday, November 30

Howdy Holiday Huskies! The Students for Social Justice are collecting winter clothing this week for Covenant House, which supports homeless youth. At lunch this week at the front entrance of the school, we will be accepting: hoodies, jeans, umbrellas, and other winter items in good condition. Any student who brings a donation will be entered into a raffle for a Tim Horton’s gift card. The last day to bring in items is THIS FRIDAY. Thank you for all of your help!

 ND’s Drama 10-12 students present One Act Wonders, our annual One Act Play Festival, tonight and tomorrow at 7 PM sharp in the Theatre. There will be 16 exciting plays to see over two unforgettable evenings. Tickets are $3 per person per evening and will ONLY be sold at the door. We hope to see you in attendance for two nights of comedy, drama, and action!

Hey Huskies, one of your senior students is collecting donations to make Christmas care packages for a homeless shelter this holiday season. Items that are wanted for donation include sanitary supplies, mints or gum, mini gifts, small snacks and other essential items. Cash donations are also accepted. Drop off for any donations will be done from Nov 28th to Dec 9th at lunch near the counselling area and in the foyer on select mornings. If you have any spare items laying around, every donation helps!! If you have any further questions, you can check the flyers around school or contact Hasi Meher.
